Are the apartments subsidized?
Yes. We have 58 subsidies available for Heritage Hills out of 73 apartments.

Are the subsidized apartments different than the others?
No.

How much would my rent be?
The rent is calculated using your income and allowances for medical expenses. Basically, however, if you take 30% of your income that will give a ballpark figure on your rent.

Do you have any vacancies?
Yes/No. However, we work from a waiting list. You need to complete an application in order to get your name on the waiting list for Michigan Senior Housing.

How long will it be before I can get in?
That is very difficult to answer as we do not know who will be moving out at any given time, but I would guess about a year.
